Benefits :Dick Van Dyke Inc. Residential Home Appliance Installer's job is to deliver, install, and connect appliances for our customers. They will have a neat and professional appearance and have a strong desire to perform as a team.
Dick Van Dyke Inc. commits to train the right candidate for a minimum of four weeks. During training, the candidate will be paid hourly based on experience and certain credentials needed to operate a non-CDL commercial box truck. These credentials are not necessary to come onboard, we will commit to assisting the right candidate and help them get these credentials and pay for most of them.
After the training is completed, the candidate will move to a different pay phase and will be eligible to get up to a $500 monthly bonus that will be discussed at an interview.
Here are some of the responsibilities of our Residential Home Appliance Installer position :
- Installation : Install appliances according to company policies and specifications
- Delivery : Load and unload appliances from box trucks, and deliver items from a warehouse or central store to residentials homes
- Testing : Test all installations to ensure they work
- Mechanical aptitude : Perform mechanical adjustments on door removals regarding the appliances and residential doors, attaching hoses to plumbing fixtures, hooking up electrical cords to appliances delivered
- Customer service : Provide excellent customer service and care during delivery and installation, also teaching the customer how to use their new appliance
- Safety : Ensure all lifting is done properly, gas and water lines are connected properly, and report any health, fire, or safety concerns
- Maintenance : Maintain safe, organized, and clean work areas and work vehicles
- Pass a background
- Clean driving history
- Able to obtain a DOT card (DOT Physical Exam)
- Able to pass a Class C driving exam

Training Period 3 to 4 weeks - Paid Hourly $16.00 to 18.00 (Based on current credentials & mechanical experience)
After Training- 40,000 to 60,000 eligible for a monthly performance bonus of $500.00
