DickersonBakker is a leading fundraising solutions provider for non-profit organizations. We are looking for a Director of Creative Services to join our team in the Fundraising Solutions division. The Director of Creative Services reports to the Executive Vice President, Fundraising Solutions and is a member of the Fundraising Solutions division’s leadership team. This role is responsible for providing leadership and management of the Company’s direct response fundraising, major gift, and capital campaign messaging and design services. This role leads our creative development in planning, coordinating and executing creative projects.
The Director of Creative Services provides leadership and oversight to a team of internal and freelance/contract writers, editors, and graphic designers. The Director of Creatives Services ensures the creative output is consistent, high-quality, strategically aligned to client and company objectives, and delivered on-time and on-budget.
Duties
Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) preferred
Experience: 7-10 years’ experience in comparable industries with a minimum of three years in a management position required. Experience in an advertising or marketing agency, direct response fundraising, proposal development and major gift/capital campaign communications preferred.

Duties
- Leads creative strategy discussions with clients and internal teams to develop forward-thinking, high-quality and high-performing creative concepts that drive response and revenue growth for clients.
- Develops and articulates a distinct point of view on the company’s creative work product and how it creates and adds value for each client within the context of their unique goals and objectives.
- Manages resource allocation to ensure projects meet brief requirements, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Collaborates effectively with internal stakeholders, including executives, project management leaders, cross-functional department teams, partners and vendors to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with client and company objectives.
- Leads and manages a creative team, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for professional development to ensure high-quality output and team growth.
- Works with the copywriting team to align creative vision with client brand messaging and voice across all channels and campaigns.
- Supports project managers in meeting deadlines by ensuring accountability and fostering collaboration among team members while continuously refining creative workflows to streamline processes and uphold the highest quality standards
- Maintains open communication across departments to support successful project outcomes.
- Collaborates with the VP of Client Services, VP of Digital, SVP of Consulting Services and EVP of Consulting Services to maintain and enhance the creative vision, including taking ownership of concept development and execution for all creative produced by the firm.
- Supports the company’s growth objectives by participating in RFP responses, industry events, and other sales and marketing activities as assigned by the EVP, Fundraising Solutions.
- Monitors projects from initiation to completion, partnering with the VP of Operations in evaluating productivity and profitability to identify opportunities for workflow optimization and improved efficiency.
- Demonstrates exceptional communication and presentation skills to effectively convey ideas, collaborate with teams, and engage stakeholders.

- Proficient in key social media platforms, specifically LinkedIn, etc.
- Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
- Exceptional track record of developing and implementing marketing strategies that have consistently met or exceeded planned objectives, providing personal leadership through example.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results driven, team oriented environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage often outsourced marketing activities (copywriting, editing, graphic design, videography, etc.)
- Experience and comfort working across a variety of marketing channels, including direct mail, email, video, out-of-home, digital and social media, etc.
Salary : $95,000 - $110,000
