Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with inquiries regarding products and services.
- Operate the cash register, processing transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while ensuring proper cash handling procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, and lobby, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies.
- Upsell products and promote special offers to enhance customer satisfaction and store sales.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer service.
- Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise to ensure optimal product availability.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and professionally, striving for resolution.
Experience
- Previous experience in restaurant sales or restaurant environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive interactions.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as this can enhance communication with diverse customers.
- Experience in upselling techniques is a plus, helping to increase store revenue.
