LTSR Behavioral Health Technician Part-Time
We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Technician to provide direct support, supervision, and guidance to residents in our LTSR program. This role involves interacting with residents to promote adult daily living skills, social skills, and behavior management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support residents in developing adult daily living skills and social skills
- Monitor and manage resident behaviors
- Engage in group activities and crisis intervention as needed
- Ensure the safety and wellness of residents and facility staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a health service-related field (preferred)
- High school diploma with 6 months of mental health training or experience
- Minimum of 12 credit hours of college education in human services related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in behavioral health
- Experience in residential, corrections, or hospital settings
- Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner (CPRP) or Certified Peer Support Professional (CPS)
