Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Supervisor to oversee our quality assurance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in quality control and quality systems, with experience in CGMP, FDA regulations, and ISO 13485. This role requires excellent project management skills and the ability to analyze data effectively to maintain high-quality standards throughout our operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures in accordance with CGMP, FDA regulations, and ISO 13485 standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with established quality standards.
- Lead the QA/QC team in performing audits, inspections, and investigations to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and opportunities for process improvements.
- Manage projects related to quality improvement initiatives, ensuring timely completion and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Train and mentor staff on quality assurance practices and procedures to foster a culture of quality within the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Quality Management, Engineering, Life Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Strong knowledge of CGMP, FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and other relevant industry standards.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proficient in analyzing data and utilizing statistical methods for quality assessment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Experience in fabricating products or materials is a plus but not required.
