Summary : Staff designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC ("the Firm") as Immigration Case Coordinators are under the general supervision of the attorneys to whom assigned, as well as the Chief Human Resources Officer. According to established policies and procedures, the Immigration Case Coordinator will perform a variety of duties to assist the attorneys. The Immigration Case Coordinators work with our team of attorneys and paralegals, as well as interacts with multinational corporate clients.Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Immigration Case Coordinator at the Firm include but are not limited to : Prepare H-1B, L-1, TN, E1 / E2, E-3, P-1, O-1 and other nonimmigrant petitions and applications;Prepare immigrant / permanent resident processes filings including PERM labor certifications;Perform case intake, analyze case documents, and draft correspondences, and / or memos / summaries;Maintains a positive contact with clients and observes confidentiality of client matters;Maintain and organize client documentation, monitor workload and production;Communicate regularly with clients and foreign nationals regarding case filings;Monitor expiration dates and prepare case status reports for clients using case management systems and programs;Support the DW Immigration Group with other assigned tasks and projects, as needed;Use INSZoom or LawLogix Case Management System.Qualifications, Skills and Abilities Required : Immigration Case Coordinators must : Have a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or paralegal certification is preferred but not required;Have approximately 2 years as Immigration Case Coordinator experience;Possess the ability to handle high volume case load while maintaining a high level of productivity;Be proficient in all Microsoft applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Tracker and a document management system;Possess outstanding case / project management and organizational skills;Possess strong writing skills, have excellent attention to detail, be able to multi-task and work independently toward team goals;Possess the ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team environment. Working Conditions : Normal law office environment with little exposure to noise, dust, temperature.
