Summary : Staff designated at Dickinson Wright PLLC ("the Firm") as Law Firm Software Trainer are responsible for providing technical training to lawyers and support staff and creating training materials on a full time basis, unless otherwise arranged with the Firm. The Training candidate will work to support our team of lawyers and support staff to help deliver quality service to our clients. This is accomplished through state-of-the-art technological sophistication, a supportive working environment and the recognition that we must earn our reputation each and every day. Training staff report to the Training Manager.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Essential duties and responsibilities of staff designated as Law Firm Software Trainer at the Firm include, but are not limited to :
- Conduct technical training in person and via Zoom to familiarize lawyers and staff with new and upgraded applications and tailor the training content based on the trainee.
- Create and review training materials including instructional videos, guides, and outlines.
- Assist in reviewing and updating training content in our Learning Management System.
- Must perform a variety of tasks including travel to various Dickinson Wright offices to introduce new hires to our systems, conduct virtual training via Zoom, document class participants, and work comfortably with other Trainers, Programmer / Analysts and Help Desk personnel to test upgrades and other changes to the system.
- The professional candidate will work with a team of Trainers under the general supervision of the Training Manager.
