Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Greeter to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for guests, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere. The Greeter will be responsible for managing guest arrivals, ensuring smooth transitions into the establishment, and assisting with any inquiries or needs that may arise.
Duties
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they enter the establishment.
- Manage the flow of guests by efficiently coordinating seating arrangements and waitlists.
- Provide information about the menu, services, and special promotions to enhance guest experience.
- Assist guests with reservations and ensure they are seated promptly.
- Handle guest inquiries and concerns with professionalism, ensuring satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the entrance area to create an inviting atmosphere.
- Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Utilize POS systems (such as Aloha POS) for reservation management when necessary.
- Sell retail merchandise including souvenir shirts, glassware, hats, etc.
- Commissions available for shirt sells
- Stock and tidy restrooms and do periodic checks
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is preferred, particularly in restaurant or hotel settings.
- Familiarity with food service operations is a plus.
- Strong phone etiquette skills for handling guest inquiries over the phone.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on guest relations and helping others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
