**Job Summary:**
We are seeking experienced servers and bartenders to join our dynamic team at the all new Dick's Wings & Grill in Fernandina. This location was recently purchased, remodeled and full of new upgrades including a full bar! The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.
**Duties:**
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with menu selections and provide recommendations
- Take and process customer orders accurately
- Serve food and beverages promptly
- Upsell menu items and promotions to increase sales
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front of house area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
**Requirements:**
- Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques is a plus
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas
- Familiarity with retail math concepts for upselling and calculating totals
