Accountant / Bookkeeper - Part-time
Concrete Construction Company near Cheverly, Maryland, is seeking a seasoned candidate with a minimum of 10 years of experience in general bookkeeping to oversee our Company’s financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate books on accounts payable and receivable and financial entries and reconciliations. The position occupies 22 to 25 hours per month. A friendly environment and long-term commitment are welcome; our Accountant / Bookkeeper has retired after 50 years with the Company. CPA certification is not required.

- Proficiency in Peachtree, Sage, or similar accounting software is a prerequisite.
- Attention to detail and confidentiality are a must.
- Mature candidates must be able to visit our construction job sites if required.
- Good oral and written communication is a plus.
- The ideal candidate should have the ability to work with little supervision.
