Hours : Monday - Thursday, 5am-3pm OR 3pm - 1am
Starting Wage : $22 per hour ($2 / hr shift premium for 2nd shift!)

Responsibilities :
Proactively monitor the packing equipment operator interface and DCS system to anticipate needs and quickly resolve any issues.Perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance of pack line machinery, including resolving issues with jammed bags, improperly sealed bags, rejected bags, and jammed palletizers.Support warehouse operations, including forklift operations, and loading and unloading shipments as needed.Conduct basic quality checks of products before shipping to customers, including pulling samples for final product testing to be delivered to the quality lab.Ensure final paperwork and computer data entry for shipped loads is completed promptly and correctly.Perform deep cleaning of lines once orders are fulfilled or during breaks between production schedules.Commit to growing and expanding skill set through training and education, leading to higher levels of responsibility or growth into a new role.Requirements :
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. A technical school certificate or degree in a related field is a plus but not required.Basic driving skills required; forklift driving experience is a plus.General computer competency required.Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly a food-safe environment, is a plus.Ability to work autonomously using critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills to complete assigned tasks safely without supervision.Fluent in English to communicate effectively with team members in a professional manner within and external to the pack department.Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors :
Ability to work in environments with noise, dust, hot weather, and cold weather.Must be able to lift 55 pounds.Ability to ascend and descend stairs, ladders, and gangways frequently and work while standing continuously.Ability to safely work at heights over 20 feet, including ladders, man lifts, harnesses, equipment tops, and scaffolding.Ability to enter confined spaces following all safety procedures while performing job duties.Must be able to communicate using and hearing a 2-way radio.Dexterity and ability to maneuver equipment in tight working spaces.Didion Inc. is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer.
