We are currently seeking to hire a Shipping and Receiving Associate in the Metals Department, who possesses the same values.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Loads and unloads inbound and outbound shipments and ensures accuracy of shipments.
- Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated place.
- Maintain accurate records and assist in inventory control.
- Record shipments in computer software.
- Inspects, records, and weighs materials.
- Appropriately identifies, handles, sorts, and processes materials.
- Maintains a safe and efficient work environment.
- Performs housekeeping duties as needed throughout the day.
First shift hours and some Saturdays 8 am to noon
Skills and Experience
- Prior forklift experience (required).
- Ability to follow directions and work safely.
- Routinely bend, climb, push, pull, twist and repeat.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic math skills.
