The Human Resources Assistant works closely with the Human Resources team for administrative support and provides operational support by assisting Human Resource staff with specified projects and providing customer service to employees. The Human Resources Assistant will handle sensitive employee and company information, which requires that the individual maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Provides administrative support and general operations support to the Human Resources Department by obtaining, updating, and maintaining required documents and information necessary for data entry into the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) including those records generated during the life cycle of a Didlake employee.
- Generates accurate and timely reports, SOPs, metrics, and other documents required by the Human Resource Department, as well as by other Didlake departments to assist in the implementation of Didlake services and programs.
- Prepares benefits packets, processes applications, contacts potential candidates via phone/email, and provides general support to organize and hold job fairs, interview days, and information sessions.
- Provides support to the Benefits Administrator by processing requests related to 401k, leaves of absence and health care coverage. Communicates with and responds to requests via phone and email.
- Fosters teamwork by balancing team and individual responsibilities; gives feedback to nurture a positive team spirit and quality performance and models dependability, hard work, strong business ethics, and professional personal appearance.
- Assists with research and development of new HR initiatives and programs.
- Assists with general administrative tasks and participates in the department's projects.
- Provide customer service to employees via phone, email, in-person, and the department’s online ticketing system.
- Performs clerical duties that include filing, photocopying, faxing, and preparation of routine correspondence, written and electronic.
- Responsible for maintaining the supply of and updating new hire forms, training documents, and benefit packets, as needed.
- Provides information from employee personnel records as requested for employment verifications.
