Controller Accounting

Growing Real Estate Company, specializing in Commercial Property Management, Leasing, Construction, Retail Sales & Hospitality, is seeking a Controller with a minimum of 7 years real estate accounting experience, to join our dynamic staff.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing financial operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and supporting the overall financial health of the organization. This position requires strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review monthly schedules and financial reports, ensuring general ledger accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
• Management of accounting staff, including A/P and A/R.
• Monthly closing process, including reconciliation of intercompany activity.
• Annual budgets, in collaboration with the various departments, provide insights and analysis on financial performance.
• Analyze and identify discrepancies or trends requiring attention.
• Function as the liaison to outside CPA firm.
• Other duties as assigned by CFO or CEO.

Experience:

• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proficient in full-service accounting software and various accounting methods.
• Strong management and communication skills.
• Experience in budgeting, with the ability to manage financial forecasts effectively.
• Proficient in balance sheet reconciliation and account analysis.

Pay: $95,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
