Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
- Operate cash registers and Aloha POS systems efficiently, processing customer transactions accurately.
- Engage with customers, providing recommendations and upselling products to enhance their experience.
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while maintaining quality.
- Handle food items in accordance with food handling guidelines, ensuring freshness and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment and support each other during busy shifts.
Skills
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in food handling and knowledge of food safety practices is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating cash registers and familiarity with Aloha POS systems is advantageous.
- Previous experience in food service or as a Barista is highly desirable.
- Passion for coffee culture, with the ability to craft beverages that meet customer expectations.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions and managing cash accurately.
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with customers and team members alike.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
