Dieffenbauch & Hritz (D&H) is currently seeking a motivated Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering and architecture design team in Abingdon, VA. The qualified individual will work within the design team on a wide range of mechanical, structural, and civil engineering and architectural projects.
Job Duties / Responsibilities :
- Assist in development of engineering plan sets.
- Help in developing construction specifications, quantities, and cost estimates.
- Aid in creating scope of work documents, and project schedules.
- Attend and actively participate in project meetings.
- Work collaboratively as part of a design team to meet the client’s scope, budget, and schedule.
- Preform varies engineering calculations and draft reports.
- Preform field measurements and inspections, and draft reports.
- Willingness to learn new design software as needed.
