Dealership Parts Assistant Manager

The VW Assistant Parts Manager at Diehl of Butler is a full-time role within the automotive industry in Butler, Pennsylvania. The position entails providing exceptional customer service while also generating sales. As an Assistant Parts Manager, you will assist the Parts Manager with daily operations including inventory management, customer service, and sales. We are seeking a motivated and driven individual with a strong passion for the automotive industry to join our dynamic team. In addition to the benefits and excellent salary, the position will be located in the NEW Diehl VW building, a stunningly beautiful new building located on Route 8 in Butler, PA.

Compensation & Benefits:

This position offers a competitive base salary ranging from $45,000 to $65,000 per year. In addition to the base salary, this role also offers a commission structure based on sales, providing the opportunity for additional income. Employees are also eligible for benefits including healthcare, dental, and 401(k) options.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Parts Manager with daily operations of the parts department, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory levels.
• Provide exceptional customer service, both in-person and over the phone, to assist customers with finding the correct parts and accessories for their vehicles.
• Generate sales through effective communication with customers and offering a wide range of product options.
• Collaborate with the service and sales departments to fulfill their parts needs in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate and organized inventory records and perform inventory audits as needed.
• Stay up-to-date on current and upcoming products and promotions to better assist customers.
• Assist in training and coaching new parts team members on processes and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized parts department to ensure a positive and professional environment for employees and customers.
  
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the automotive industry, specifically in parts departments.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and accessories.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
• Proficient computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
