What does the job involve?
The Saw Operator sets up and operates manual machines and the CNC Panel Saw using work order
information, blueprints, any other customer supplied data, necessary fixtures and tooling. Inspection is
performed as established by the Quality Department.
What will my responsibilities include?
Determine requirements from the work order, blueprints and other customer supplied data
• Ensure the material card matches the work order
• Complete the appropriate set-up maximizing productivity and quality
• Inspect parts per print specifications and inspection intervals and document as necessary
• Attend company courses and assist on project teams when asked
• May be cross-trained for other positions
• Other responsibilities as assigned
This position may involve exposure to, but is not limited to, the following materials: acrylic,
polycarbonate, FR-4 epoxy glass, GPO (I, II, III) polyester glass, HDPE (high-density polyethylene), glass
epoxy, G9 glass melamine laminate, copper, brass, and aluminum.
