Food Sanitation Maintenance Associate
We are seeking a detail-oriented and independent individual to join our team as a Food Sanitation Maintenance Associate. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest level of cleanliness in our food production departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of cleaning functions in various departments, including Bakery, Deli, Seafood, Meat, Salad Bar, and Produce.
- Clean walls, floors, ceiling, coolers, drains, equipment, and cases after product removal in all perishable departments.
- Operate commercial power equipment such as floor scrubbers, steamers, power washers, and trash compactors.
- Conduct daily, weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual deep-cleaning requirements.
Essentials:
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and use cleaning chemicals.
- Ability to navigate and move ladders frequently over extended periods.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work a varied schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
- Prompt and regular attendance based on your schedule.
- Adherence to our dress code, appearance, and personal hygiene standards.
- Hepatitis A vaccination (MO only) for associates in food handling departments.
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting & Carrying: Up to 35 lbs.
- Pushing & Pulling: Up to 50 lbs of force.
- Occasional: Sit, kneel, crawl, climb, overhead reach, & power grip.
- Frequent: Stand, walk, head turn, trunk bend, stoop, squat, handling, side reach, grasp, pinch, finger manipulation, & feel.
- Constant: Forward reach.
- Mobile throughout the store; standing for 8 hours.
- Able to climb up and down ladders and move ladders frequently over extended periods.
