Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Commercial Driver to join our team at Diesel Direct Inc. as a Lube Technician. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position based in Henderson and Denver, Colorado, with responsibilities including delivering lubrication and chemical supplies to customers within our geographic region. As a Commercial Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles, loading and unloading products, and maintaining accurate records of deliveries and transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Pre-Post Trip Inspection: Perform regular inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with corporate and federal regulations.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate all equipment within guidelines of corporate or jurisdictional requirements.
- Delivery and Loading: Load and unload products correctly, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
- Paperwork and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transactions, and other relevant documents.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, communicating effectively via telephone and in person.
Requirements:
- DOT Medical Certification: Must maintain current certification at all times.
- CDL (Class B): Hold a valid CDL in Colorado.
- Commercial Driving Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with frequent transition between driver and loader/unloader roles.
