Driver Tank Wagon

Tank Wagon Operator:

Glover Oil Company Inc is seeking a Tank Wagon Operator responsible for safely and efficiently delivering diesel fuel while adhering to all safety regulations to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned:

• Safe Operations: Operate tank truck in accordance with all applicate traffic laws and company safety procedures.
• Fuel Delivery: Accurately deliver diesel fuel to customer locations, ensuring proper metering and documentation.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily inspections of tank truck, including checking fluid levels, tires, and lights. Report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional manner.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of fuel deliveries, including customer signatures and delivery tickets.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement
• Experience operating tank trucks or other commercial vehicles
• Strong safety record and commitment to safe driving practices
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Physically able to perform lifting and climbing
