Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our team. This Is a mobile tech position. The ideal candidate will have expertise in diesel engine repair and maintenance, as well as possess strong mechanical skills.
Duties:
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines and vehicles
- Perform routine maintenance on diesel engines, including oil changes and filter replacements
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles
- Conduct diagnostic tests on vehicles to identify issues
- Repair or replace faulty parts, such as pistons, rods, gears, valves, and bearings
- Welding, aligning, soldering as needed
- Dig into complex mechanical issues to identify root causes
- Maintain service truck
-Communicate with customer and office the status of repairs
-Accurately document findings and work performed
Skills:
- Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance
- Ability to operate forklifts for moving heavy equipment
- Strong customer service skills when interacting with clients
- Capable of heavy lifting when required
- Welding and soldering skills for repairs
- Knowledge of aligning vehicle components accurately
-Must be able to drive standard shift truck

Depending On workload hours can vary and schedule can be flexible to accommodate different situations. After probationary period, applicant will be able to take service truck home and be able to go directly to job sites. We are a small family owned company looking to grow. Due to this, we may not be able to offer the benefits of a large shop or dealer but can offer being extremely flexible with a variety of things from start times, days/hours worked, time off, job training, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No nights
- On call
- Weekends as needed

- Diesel engine repair: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License with clean history (Required)
