We are seeking an enthusiastic and results-driven Regional Account Manager to join our growing team at DieselHeads.com, a leading engine machine shop specializing in high-quality engine rebuilding and machining services. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in industrial or automotive sectors and a deep understanding of engine parts and machine shop operations. You will be responsible for developing and expanding our customer base within your assigned region while promoting our engine machining services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities with mechanics, engine rebuilders, repair shops, auto dealerships, and OEM suppliers within a 200 mile radius of our shop in Knoxville, TN.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Product Knowledge: Understand and effectively communicate the full range of engine machining services, from cylinder head and block machining to custom engine parts and repair solutions.
- Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a sales strategy to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities and keep the company competitive in the market.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to clients, helping them choose the best products and services for their needs.
- Sales Reporting: Track all sales activities and provide regular updates on progress, forecasts, and pipeline management.
- Travel: Regular travel within the assigned region to meet with customers, attend industry events, and perform on-site visits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in sales, ideally within the automotive, industrial, or engine machining sectors.
- Strong understanding of engine components, repair processes, and machine shop operations.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with a wide range of customers.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage your own time.
- Proficient with CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (travel required).
- Ability to understand and relay technical information to customers in an easy-to-understand manner.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in engine parts sales or machine shop sales.
