KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Social/Digital Marketing
- Managing all digital programs, including but not limited to digital and social advertising, search marketing (SEO/SEM), email communications, and website design/development
- Social media/community management: Plan, write, and execute social media content in support of the larger content calendar to grow Diestel’s community and high-frequency consumer base.
-Support influencer and/or ambassador programs and other outreach driven tactics including rapid response time to grow our social community and maintain high engagement and exceptional customer service.
-Strategize, support and implement paid advertising campaign execution and monitoring.
-Develop & implement email marketing strategies to promote online store and general brand reach campaigns.
-Develop & implement direct to consumer channel strategies (coupon programing, e-newsletters, blogs, collaborations, company events, etc) to drive traffic, increase sales and CLV.
-Monitor and evaluate consumer feedback, social engagement and UX.
-Compile, review and communicate monthly/quarterly qualitative and quantitative reports on digital marketing performance, driving actionable insights for future efforts
- Writes briefs that achieve communication objectives while maintain key brand equities
- Gathering feedback from internal team, provide clear and concise feedback to agencies, and ensure timelines stay on track
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Work with brand manager to develop and implement sustainability efforts (zero waste, new packaging, etc..), as well as communication strategies around such efforts
- Keep team informed of competitors successes and shortcomings, as well as relevant brands that exhibit best in class social, digital, web, and demo activities
National Event/Demo/Trade Show & Shopper Strategies & Training
-Create annual demo and event calendar to align with sales initiatives and promotions. Demo/Event/Trade Show strategies should bring theatre, drive engagement and ensure a positive and memorable experience with the brand
- Nurture partnerships with local brand to bring unique events to life
-Leverage demo surveys to gather insights for both demos and brand; implement relevant insights across marketing mix
-Develop training materials and coordinate annual and quarterly trainings with demo coordinators and brand ambassadors
-Work with Sales & Marketing coordinator to ensure timely demo scheduling and all product sampling aligns with sales initiatives, promotions and marketing budgets.
-Manage to budget for demo programming as well as all third party demo/event teams to execute on annual demo schedule
-Collaborate with the Brand Manager to develop POS materials, in-store signage and other account-related sales materials
- Design, source, and implement tradeshow assets like backdrops, tablecloths, etc.
Brand Marketing
- In partnership with VP of Marketing, lead development of annual brand plans, marketing objectives and communications content
- Work with VP of Marketing to refine annual marketing strategies and budgets around social, digital, print, web, and experiential marketing, and ensure they tie to annual objectives
- As a participant in the creative review process, provide clear vision and concise feedback that ensures creative is compelling, accurate and on brand
-Supports marketing strategy for in-store marketing initiatives that will drive sell through including the execution of implementing POS, signage, merchandising, and other relevant branding support initiatives.
- Supports continuity across all packaging/sell sheets/brand decks and ensures they are resonating with core consumer
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree Required
Minimum of 4 years experience in a CPG brand marketing role, perishable food industry is preferred
Minimum 1-2 years experience leading innovation projects at a food CPG
Minimum 1-2 years experience in brand marketing leadership role, ideally having led 1 annual marketing planning cycles
Small company or start up experience a plus
Strong copy-writing and creative skills
Exceptional team player, able to manage cross-departmental interests with positive mindset
Strong organizational and communication skills with proven knowledge of how to build and manage project timeline
Comfort building and navigating P&L (ideally also a basic IRR model)
High level of proficiency in scan data analysis using SPINS, Nielsen, and/or IRI data
Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills

Pay: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
