Job Title: Part-Time Merchandiser
We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Part-Time Merchandiser. The successful candidate will assist with sales and create brand awareness for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a deli slicer and maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Set up deli cases and rotate deli product according to schematics/planograms.
- Understand and execute marketing displays using Dietz & Watson Point of Sale (POS).
- Manage time effectively, complete reports, and provide coverage to all stores within assigned territory.
- Build and maintain customer relationships through high-level customer service techniques.
- Train new store deli hires on the merits of Dietz & Watson and refresh training when needed.
- Communicate information to Merchandiser Manager and utilize monthly sales reports to achieve 100% distribution.
Requirements:
- Flexibility and ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Must be able to read and write English.
- Must have computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and communication, organization, creativity, and customization skills.
- High school diploma or equivalence and 1-2 years of customer service/sales experience preferred.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass the company issued ServSafe Manager exam.
