His primary goal was to produce the most flavorful, highest quality deli meats in the marketplace, to please even the most discriminating palate. His old-world recipes and commitment to "quality above all" demanded nothing less than the freshest lean beef, ham, pork turkey breast and chicken breast. Anticipated Schedule
You will work on site at our Philadelphia Distribution Center. The schedule is three 12-hour shifts (Wednesday, Thursday & Friday).
What You Bring
- Checking weights of trailers Inbounds / Outbounds; documents
- Greets drivers, crosschecks pick up / delivery numbers against daily schedule and directs the driver to the appropriate dock door / staging area
- Preparing documents for drivers - invoices, manifests, BOL's, packing slips
- Examine contents and compare with records such as manifests, invoices, or orders to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments and making sure the driver signs all paperwork correctly
- Filling out documents such as receiving receipts, POD's, transfers, etc.
- Updating Loading Dock Board
- Answering incoming calls from guard shack of incoming and outgoing trucks and verify weights against load sheets
- Data Entry
- Computer Inventory System
- Scheduling Receiving Appointments
- Scanning for Proof of Deliveries
- Checking orders for overages / shortages before being shipped out
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Outlook Email
- Maintain clean and sanitary work environment
- Complete recordkeeping requirements
- Must be able to read and write English
