Our team is currently looking for an experienced Yard Jockey. This is a Full Time opportunity with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package.
Primary Duties
- Shuttle trailers between buildings as needed.
- Place empty trailers in doors from yard or move from yard to dock doors as needed and directed.
- Check loaded trailers to ensure proper seal and proper temperature.
- Check each trailer moved for damage or maintenance issues, and report any found issues to garage and supervision.
- Check yard for damages to electrical poles, docks etc. and ensure necessary inventory is submitted to clerk.
- Use a Box truck to shuttle products / materials between buildings
- Load trucks using stand on electric Pallet Jack / Forklift
- Other tasks as directed by clerks, supervision, or management.
- Requires great attention to detail for safety concerns and truck maintenance.
