Position Summary
Position is responsible for performing various inspections, observations and quality control testing at periodic intervals and appropriately recording all information in accordance with Company guidelines, with limited supervision.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Works safely, uses appropriate PPE.
- Performs field and/or laboratory testing, observation and inspection of plant operations.
- Prepares daily written and/or digital reports to share observations and test results and ensures the records are appropriately filed and retained.
- Completes post repair inspections to ensure repairs are completed correctly and appropriately closed out.
- Assists in plant operations as needed.
- Participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
- Maintains adequate records of key production variables such as production volume, yield, plant uptime, utility consumption, etc., on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis, as required.
- Interprets quality assurance (QA) results and takes appropriate action when required and approved by leads or the plant manager.
- Samples and tests process streams as required by the QA program and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Mid-level: A minimum of six (6) months to one (1) year of materials testing and observations inspection experience.
- Prior experience with detailed record keeping.
- Sufficient education to make appropriate arithmetic equations and complete written documentation and records; or an equivalent combination of experience, education and training that provides the desired knowledge, skills and characteristics.
- Must be able to use and apply simple math and use basic handheld measuring tools.
- Computer skills - Basic computer skills required.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, using both written and spoken forms of communication.
- Must be willing to work any assigned shift, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis and be at least 18 years of age.
- Must have high safety standards for self and others.
- Must be able to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate effectively with others.

- Frequently - Position requires carrying, pushing, pulling 75 pounds.
- Regularly - required to sit or stand, reach, climb and move about the facility.
- Frequently - climbs ladders and stairs.
- Work Environment - Work performed in a plant environment. Exposure to inclement weather as most work will be performed outside.
- Lifting, carrying, reaching, pushing, and/or pulling; climbing and balancing; frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling; and significant finger dexterity necessary 50 pounds of weight from 33% - 66% of the time (2.5 - 5.5 hrs./day)
- Personal Protective Equipment: Safety glasses, hard hat and steel toe boots must be worn at all times. Hearing, respiratory and/or fall protection equipment must be worn when required.
