Position Summary
Receiving, stocking, pricing, and merchandising the meat deli products and assisting our guests in a knowledgeable, prompt, friendly manner. Ordering, stocking, and rotating products to maintain freshness
Job Duties
- Helps to manage and maintain a clean and safe environment to work and shop.
- Effective communication with team members and supervisors to build and maintain morale.
- Knowledge of company policies, programs, and procedures.
- Promote a harassment-free work and shopping environment, and immediately reports any potential harmful situation.
- Continually strives to build knowledge and skills, both personally and within the department.
- Proper product handling, case cutting, price marking, rotation, facing, and display of merchandise.
- Follow through and achieve all company policies, programs, and directives.
- Be a team player and able to do the jobs/tasks asked by others.
- Maintain quality standards within the department and store.
- Assist guests to help improve their shopping experience.
- Completes tasks efficiently and in a timely manner
- Assist in the training, scheduling, and overall operations within the department.
- Maintain effective inventory control through proper ordering while minimizing food waste.

- Merchandise and maintain displays of product throughout the store.
- Strong knowledge in Meat & Seafood and able to share with the guest and team your passion for the products.
- Assist in maintaining proper freshness, coding, tares, and merchandising.
- Has knowledge of the various cuts of meats and varieties of seafood.
Experience: Previous experience preferred.
Minimum Age: 18 years or older
Equipment use: Box Cutter, Garbage Compactor, Cardboard Baler, Forklift, Pallet Jack, etc.
Physical Abilities: Regularly required to walk, sit, stand, sit, twist and bend; hands to fingers to handle and feel: repetitive use of hands and arms to push, pull, carry, lift, reach, grip, and balance; occasionally stoop, crouch, kneel, or crawl. Use of step stool and ladder. Lifting 50 pounds and may include floor to shoulder and overhead.
Communication: Ability to write, speak, hear and/or understand the spoken word in order to respond promptly to team members and guests’ needs. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance manuals.
Education: Food Handler’s Permit Required.
