ABOUT: Our practice is the premier Gastroenterology group in the metro Nashville area, providing care for patients from a multi-county area covering a 75 mile radius. We operate a state-of-the-art Ambulatory Surgery Center that is accredited by American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities, Inc (AAAASF) and each year performs several thousand endoscopy exams safely in a comfortable outpatient setting. In addition to providing excellent outpatient Gastroenterology care, our providers are affiliated with Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center.
JOB SUMMARY: Now recruiting for a licensed Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role at our Middle Tennessee Gastroenterology clinic located in Nashville. Limited Gallatin, TN coverage (1 shift per week) will also be required. We are looking for NPs who enjoy working in a team-oriented and fast-paced environment. GI experience is preferred.

Requirements for this position include Tennessee-licensed Nurse Practitioner, and a current, unrestricted DEA license.
Primary daily location will be at our Nashille office.
Candidates must have the ability to provide quality, comprehensive, continuity of medical care in a compassionate manner with minimum supervision.
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is responsible for the provision of health care services to individuals, families, and/or groups who receive their care under the auspices of the medical group. Health care services include conducting health assessments, prescribing/providing treatments/interventions, promoting health, and providing disease prevention and management. Health care services are provided under the direction and supervision of assigned gastroenterology physician (collaborative agreement).
The APP is expected to participate in quality assurance and improvement activities, engage in member of the team activities, and use resources (human and material) appropriately.
Education Level Master's Level Degree - NURSE PRACTITIONER
License Required: Basic Life Support, Nurse Practitioner
Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support Skills
Required: Communication, Critical Thinking. The APP maintains continuing education credits as prescribed by licensing body and the medical group and maintains prescriptive authority; acquires special clinical competencies as required by the group; participates in quality assurance and utilization management activities; and assists with risk management functions.

Schedule:
Day shift Monday through Friday
- 7:30am to 3:30pm. No hospital call. Clinic call is required and can be done fully remotely.
Ability to commute to satellite clinics based on advanced notice and scheduling. Nashville clinic will be primary, with 1 day a week in Gallatin.
