What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Provider (FNP, PA-C, NP, PA) position at DIGESTIVE HEALTH CLINIC?
We are seeking an advanced practitioner to join our thriving practice in the Treasure Valley. You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Our office is staffed by nine Board Certified Gastroenterology Doctors, two Nurse Practitioners, and one Physician Assistant. The support staff is excellent and caring. salary and benefits are competitive and duties do not include weekends or holidays. Experience as a Nurse Practitioner, or as a Physician Assistant is a must and additional GI and/or internal medicine experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
