JOB DESCRIPTION
Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable, skilled, and experienced CRNA independent contractor to join our rapidly growing practice, Digestive Health Partners.
The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Manager (CRNA) is responsible for administering anesthesia to patients and providing care to patients before, during and after procedures.
Essential Functions

· During patient procedures monitor patient vital signs, making adjustments to the anesthesia as needed.
· Assess and evaluate patient needs to plan for and implement supportive care before, during and after the procedure.
· Ensure compliance with all Endoscopy Center operating policies and procedures through monitoring and correction as needed.
· Maintain environment to provide a safe, clean, and orderly environment, including cleaning, disinfecting and daily maintenance of equipment and procedure rooms.
· Maintain accurate and complete patient record, documenting all nursing assessment, interventions, and patient responses.
· Demonstrate ability and appropriate technical skills when timely administering treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders and established Endoscopy Center policy and procedure.
· Ensure availability of emergency equipment and inspect crash cart as assigned.
· Participate in economical utilization of supplies and ensure that equipment is maintained in a clean and safe manner.
· Ensure security of medication and narcotic keys and narcotic logs.
· Assist with quality improvement activities related to patient care and services provided.
· Assist physicians with procedures, as needed.
· Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of all patient information.
· Demonstrate working knowledge and role with all safety plans. Participate in fire and emergency drills.
· Maintain Basic Life Support (CPR) training and ACLS training certifications.
· Function within the legal limits of nursing practice. Maintain CRNA license and certifications.
· Participate in in-services and continuing education to maintain and improve knowledge and skills.
· Report errors of commission or omission, injuries and illnesses, and adverse events to Chief Clinical Officer.
· Refer situations beyond ability or function to appropriate personnel.
Qualifications
Graduate of nurse anesthetist program accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education and possesses a graduate degree
RN anesthetist, CPR, ACLS certification

Physical Demands
