As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Clerk to join our team.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Prepare purchase orders by reviewing and verifying purchasing requisitions
  • Collaborate with internal teams to determine procurement needs and specifications
  • Identify potential suppliers, evaluate quotes, and negotiate prices, terms, and conditions
  • Review and compare supplier contracts to ensure compliance with company policies
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet production demands and minimize stockouts
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and shipping logistics with suppliers and internal departments
  • Resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and received items, ensuring accurate and timely reconciliation
  • Communicate and build relationships with suppliers to improve procurement processes and resolve issues
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other relevant information
  • Assist in analyzing inventory levels, supplier performance, and market trends to support decision-making

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in purchasing or supply chain management is a plus
  • Proven work experience as a Purchasing Clerk or in a similar role
  • Solid understanding of procurement practices and principles
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, specifically Excel, for data analysis and reporting
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with inventory management software is a plus
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Must be highly reliable and possess a strong work ethic
