Guest service team members are the face of Diggerland USA. Team members interact directly with guests and provide customer service in a variety of roles, including Admissions, Retail, Arcade, Gold Digger, and other customer focused areas. Cross training can be provided in order to create more flexibility in scheduling and allow you to grow and expand your role within the company. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age.
Position Summary (including but not limited to) :
- Maintains an upbeat and engaging disposition, greeting guests with a smile, while adhering to the highest standards in customer service.
- Maintains up to date knowledge of all current specials and promotions of the facility.
- Provides exceptional customer service to all guests by answering any questions regarding the facility, assisting guests in making purchases, and responding to guest needs
- Maintains the daily operation of the Admissions, Retail, Arcade, Gold Digger, or other assigned area.
- Assists guests with redeeming online tickets or purchasing tickets for entry into the park.
- Actively upsells guests on targeted products in an effort to increase guest spending and engage guests.
- Assists in merchandising functions including display, inventory receiving, stocking and daily record keeping.
- Assists arcade guests with change, redeeming tickets for prizes, and all other transactions throughout the arcade.
- Conducts cash handling functions including Point of Sale cash registers.
- Ensures Admissions, Retail, Arcade, Gold Digger, or other assigned areas achieve the highest standards in areas of cleanliness, presentation, and service.
- Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined in the Diggerland USA handbook.
- Flexible regarding scheduling as it is based on business demands and weather.
