Food and Beverage team members work in a fast-paced environment at all four of our dining and snack venues around the park. Team members interact with guests to provide an exceptional overall food experience. Positions include food preparation, cooking, and frying as well as taking orders, cashiering, and delivering orders. Applicants must be at least 16 years of age for cooking and 15 years old for taking and delivering orders.
- Position Summary (including but not limited to):Have an upbeat disposition and greet guests with energy and a smile.
- Responsible for the promotion of a safe and professional workplace through adhering to policies and procedures as outlined by Diggerland USA.
- Maintain the daily operation of the assigned dining and/or snack venue.
- Assists in preparing food.
- Provide customer service to all guests by answering questions regarding the facility.
- Must remain up to date on all current specials and promotions of the facility.
- Assists in merchandising functions including display, inventory receiving, stocking and daily record keeping, etc.
- Cash handling functions including POS system and registers.
- Assures Cafe area achieves the highest standards in areas of cleanliness, presentation, safety and service.

- Required Qualifications: Strong customer service skills, always delivered with energy and a smile.
- Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
- Basic math skills as they apply to cash handling.
- Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands including but not limited to weekends, holidays, and special events.
- Must be responsible and able to follow instructions.
Must be a team player and able to work well with the other team members and management staff. Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous customer service or guest focused experience
- Previous cash handling experience
- Full availability on weekends, holidays and special events.
Physical Demand:
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to work in a loud environment with flashing lights.
- Able to work in a fast pace environment.
- Able to work on small ladders.
Comments:
- Should be well groomed, neat, and polite.
- Daily work hours are subject to change throughout the park operating season due to attendance, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.
