Position Summary:
The Customer Relationship Specialist is responsible for ensuring our customers receive the best service and support while meeting the objectives of the business. Uniquely situated between the two, the Customer Relationship Specialist understands the customer’s and the business’s needs and facilitates success for both parties through communication, problem-solving, and customer-centric skills.

Essential Job Functions:
- Provides excellent communication with customers through various channels.
- Maintains a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward the customer at all times.
- Enters customer requests on designated form(s) and routes to the appropriate co-worker(s) for action items.
- Tracks customer requests and provides regular updates to the customer until the issue is resolved.
- Responds to inquiries timely and confidently by knowing our products and processes inside and out.
- Accurately enter Sales Orders and any revisions of the same.
- Tracks customer orders throughout the process, providing regular updates to the customer.
- Coordinates customer sample process and arranges sample shipping.
- Works with Operations to ensure customer orders are scheduled and produced according to the customer timelines.
- All other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibility.
Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.
- Occasional exposure to manufacturing areas that may require the use of company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE)
- While in the production environment, one might experience different aromas, warmer or cooler than average temperatures, elevated noise levels, lighting differences and other conditions typical of a manufacturing facility.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. The days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel
Travel requires up to 5% travel.
Required Education and Experience
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 10 years’ customer service experience; industry knowledge a plus
