What are the responsibilities and job description for the Comptroller Subject Matter Expert (SME) position at DigiFlight?
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide technical subject matter expertise for Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems including General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), GFEBS Sensitive Activities (GFEBS-SA), Global Combat Support System—Army (GCSS-A), and the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).
Research dormant financial transactions and assist with the reconciliation of unliquidated obligations and unfilled orders.
Troubleshoot Intermediary Document (IDOC) errors and provide resolutions for numerous systems including Third Party Payment System (TPPS), Standard Procurement System (SPS), Access Online (AXOL), Procurement Automated Data and Document System (PADDS), Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS), Defense Civilian Personnel System (DCPS), and Defense Travel System.
Assist with the reconciliation of Unmatched Transactions in coordination with key internal and external stakeholders/organizations such as Headquarters, Army Materiel Command (HQAMC) and the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS).
Develop and revise ERP training materials and conduct end user training events.
Support command audit readiness efforts including audit samples, provide-by-client requests, follow-ups, and exceptions.
Create command standard operating procedures and conduct staffing of periodic updates with stakeholders. Support command compliance efforts and corrective action plans.
Develop senior level briefings, reports and plans to provide courses of actions to decision-makers and enable continuous process improvements.
Conduct financial analysis and develop financial reports that provide status of financial metrics, goals, key performance indicators, and trends.
Minimum Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of budget execution or relevant experience
- Demonstrated ability to independently, to set priorities, to organize tasks, monitor assignments, and ensure completion of assigned work.
Required Skills
Candidate should demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp, understand and interpret key aspects of Army programs. Candidate should also be able to communicate, advise and help formulate solutions to senior Government leadership and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team environment, reacting quickly to changing requirements and schedules. Travel may be required (approximately 10%).
