Duties and Responsibilities
DigiFlight, Inc., a fast growing Government contractor in Huntsville AL, is seeking a FMS Acquisition Analyst
supporting International Apache (IA) within the Apache Attack Helicopter Project Management Office (AAH-
PMO) based in the Huntsville, AL area. Candidates should have excellent program management,
organizational, and communication skills with experience in Foreign Military Sales. An ideal candidate should
demonstrate the ability to quickly grasp, understand and interpret key aspects of Army programs. Candidate
should also be able to communicate, advise and help formulate solutions to senior Government leadership
and work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing team environment, reacting quickly to changing requirements and
schedules.
Minimum Experience
· A Bachelor’s degree is desired and a minimum of 13 years’ experience (an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be used in lieu of degree).
· Knowledge of Apache AH-64 attack helicopters and their systems, subsystems and components
· The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance is required
Qualifications
• Provide Foreign Military Sales (FMS) subject matter expertise for the entire lifecycle process
• Provide FMS Total Package Approach (TPA) process planning and execution expertise
• Provide acquisition strategy, contract planning, and contract execution expertise in support of FMS programs
• Provide analyses and expertise with the interpretation and implementation of all statutory and regulatory requirements associated with FMS and general acquisition programs.
• Support customer requirements and the development of contract vehicles in support of multiple LOA
• Provide training and assistance in the execution of FMS programs
• Support LOR and LOA development with SAMD and FMS customers
• Advise and assist IA leadership positions to meet FMS customer requirements
• Collaborate with Prime Contractors' leads and other program stakeholders in the planning and execution of customer requirements
• Brief and / or prepare briefings for Senior Level Officers
• Prepare Acquisition Strategies / Plans (Contractual Documentation / Performance Work Statements/Product Description Documents/Schedules), Contracting and Procurement Strategies / Plans (Contract Vehicles/LOA Line Management)
• Provide support in determining the overall strategy for FMS customer requirements and communicating the resulting strategy to all relevant stakeholders
• Assist and train others in the performance of technical assessments of contract and case deliverables and provide recommendations for approval/disapproval, to include assisting with approval/disapproval memos for associated deliverables
• Review and analyze case requirements and information, provide input into strategy options, researching available capabilities, documenting strategy decisions, and developing briefings and other material necessary to communicate the strategy
• Review internal and external communications including white papers, briefings, decision reviews, and other special reports
