What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Manager SME position at DigiFlight?
DigiFlight, Inc. is looking for a Project Manager who will plan, coordinate, and manage the tasks to support the overall objectives and requirements. The PM will serve as the lead on assignments/tasks geared to manage aspect of IT projects within a large-scale enterprise-IT delivery and support program. We are looking for a team-oriented leader focused on delivering and supporting the strategic goals of DHS-CISA. The PM must provide the leadership and have the interpersonal communication skills necessary to inspire, lead, direct, and manage assigned projects. The Project Manager will interface with operational level CISA leaders to help maintain and sustain critical infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Leads team on large projects or significant segments of large complex projects
- Responsible for maintaining the Service Catalog to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Monitors and reports on performance measure, metrics, and service levels
- Supports revisions and updates to measures, metrics, and services levels
- Responsible for supporting Change Management Board and or configuration management related activities
- Reviewing change and or configuration management requests
- Prepares long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources
- Oversees all aspects of assigned projects.
Basic Qualifications:
- Program/project and configuration managers certified in ITIL 4 framework
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI)
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and a commitment to excellence, collaboration, agility, and diversity
- Understanding of Lean, Agile, scrum, Kanban, MBSE, or related concepts and tools for services delivery.
- Experience organizing, directing, and managing contract operation support functions involving multiple, complex, and interrelated project tasks
- Experience effectively communicating at senior levels within a customer organization
- Experience meeting with customers and contractor staff to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items, and effectively execute in accordance with approved plans
- Experience with managing projects, including adjusting to shifting priorities and solving problems quickly
- Ability to collaborate with technical staff and customers in forming strategies to improve performance, reliability, and cost effectiveness
Candidate must have an active TS/SCI
Candidate must have a MA/MS degree with a minimum of 15 years of experience. This may be substituted with a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 20 years of total experience.
