Job Description:
We are looking for a Media Research Specialist with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical
abilities. The ideal candidate will excel in researching media personalities; extracting relevant
information from various sources, and analyzing data for actionable insights. This role requires
excellent research skills, media proficiency and strong command over the English language.
Key Responsibilities:
● Media Research: Conduct in-depth research on media personalities; gathering accurate and
comprehensive information from online and offline sources.
● Article Analysis: Read, understand the articles related to media figures, identifying &
extracting the key details for further analysis.
● Social Media Data Extraction: Extract and analyze data from social media platforms to
monitor trends and gather insights on media personalities.
● Internet Surfing: Efficiently use the internet to source information.
● Data Management: Use MS Excel or Gsheets to organize, manage, and analyze research
data, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
● Analytical Thinking: Apply strong analytical skills to interpret researched data.
● Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate research findings through reports,
presentations, and team discussions.
Required Skills
● Strong Social Media Detail Extraction and Good Researching Skills.
● Proficiency in Google Sheets and Windows operating systems.
● Good Communication Skills for clear articulation of research findings.
● Good Analytical Skills to assess and interpret data accurately.
● Experience with Internet Surfing for researching purposes.
Preferred Experience:
● Prior experience in media research or a similar role is highly desirable.
● Familiarity with current media trends and key personalities.
● Preferred academic background in BMM or a related field.
