The Value You Deliver
- Working as part of an agile SCRUM team
- Developing, maintaining, and testing solutions across the Vue-Node-Java API-AWS tech stack
- Crafting and implementing solutions that align with the wider Fidelity technology strategy
- Documenting & sharing technical solutions and diagrams
- Driving technical hygiene and adoption of engineering leading practices and Fidelity standards
- Collaborating and communicating with other specialists and those with vested interest across BDX and the wider company
- Performing code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing
- Identifying and resolving issues within the production and non-production environments
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or Engineering
- Strong problem-solving skills within sophisticated, distributed deployments
- 5 years of hands-on development experience with Vue, NodeJS, and Java microservices
- Good understanding of cloud-computing and software development on AWS
- Practical experience with containerization and Kubernetes
- Experience with common CI/CD tools and pipelines (Jenkins, Artifactory, uDeploy, etc)
- Hands-on experience with logging and observability tools Splunk and Datadog
- Strong communication with technical and non-technical teammates
- A positive demeanor and strong work-ethic
