Digital Concrete is a highly skilled NDT company providing concrete scanning, utility locating and X-ray services. As we expand, we are looking for professionals who not only have technical expertise and customer service skills to do the job but who also can contribute to our top-quality team and best practices.
As a Ground Penetrating Radar Technician (GPR Tech), you will have direct contact with clients, perform and analyze scans, document critical data, write comprehensive reports, and inform clients of your findings.
You will start with hands-on training, for approximately 12 weeks depending on background and experience. After completing your training period, you will be sent out to job sites to scan and evaluate concrete slabs for our customers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Effective Communication
- Ability to learn to use GPR Equipment
- Physically Capable to carry 50 pounds
- Work / walk on concrete and walk for long periods of time, often slippery or uneven surfaces
- Extensive driving is part of your day
- Comfortable working on small or larger construction projects
- Must be self-motivated, with the ability to work independently
- Strong technical aptitude
- Experience in general construction or building practices
- Some overtime may be required.
