What are the responsibilities and job description for the CNC Programmer position at Digital Design & Modeling?
In this role (based in the Clemmons/Winston-Salem area) you will be responsible for designing and programming in Rhino 3D and Delcam/Powermill/Fusion 360 while playing a key role on an advanced prototyping team. You will be a member of a programming team that rapidly produces high-quality parts in support of our advanced design and product development clients. Equipment includes routers, mills, thermoforming machines and various other equipment.
This role requires a team player who can solve complex problems, has an entrepreneurial mindset and wishes to advance as a leader in the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Create offline CNC tool path programs from customer-supplied 3D CAD files.
- Design custom tooling and fixtures for CNC operations.
- Support the production floor by troubleshooting problems and implementing solutions to keep machines running conforming parts.
- Drive continuous improvement and cost reduction opportunities in machining processes by leveraging new cutting and automation tools with external vendors.
- Maintain specifications by observing good machining practices and adhering to quality assurance procedures and processes.
- Stay current on job skills by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Willingness and ability to train other programmers for back-up coverage and cross training.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

Pay: $23.00 - $45.00 per hour
