This position requires expertise in performing final inspections, testing, and analysis of products to ensure they meet both internal specifications and external customer requirements. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes, quality assurance protocols, and be adept at identifying and addressing quality issues at the final stage of production.
Key Responsibilities:
Final Product Inspection:
- Perform comprehensive final inspection and testing of semiconductor devices, including visual, electrical, mechanical, and functional tests, to ensure compliance with product specifications.
- Review inspection data, test reports, and documentation to verify that the final products meet both internal quality standards and external customer requirements.
- Identify and document any defects, non-conformances, and deviations from specifications during the final inspection process.
Quality Assurance Testing:
- Conduct electrical testing using equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and automated test systems to verify device performance against specifications.
- Perform high-level failure analysis and identify root causes of defects in final products to determine corrective actions.
- Use quality tools (e.g., SPC, FMEA, root cause analysis) to assess product quality and identify any systematic issues.
Documentation & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of inspection results, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and any corrective actions taken.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on product quality, testing results, and quality performance metrics to management and relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that all quality control documentation complies with industry standards (e.g., ISO, IPC) and regulatory requirements.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
- Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure that corrective actions are implemented and that product quality standards are met.
- Provide feedback to design and manufacturing teams on product performance and quality improvements.
Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including process optimizations, defect reduction programs, and quality control system upgrades.
- Contribute to the development and review of quality control procedures, work instructions, and other documentation to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring defects or quality issues.
Compliance with Industry Standards:
- Ensure that all QA activities comply with relevant industry standards such as ISO 9001, JEDEC, IPC, and other semiconductor-specific quality standards.
- Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements to keep the company’s quality practices up-to-date.

- Experience with final product inspection, electrical testing, and failure analysis in semiconductor products.
- Knowledge of semiconductor fabrication, packaging, and testing processes.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies such as SPC, FMEA, and root cause analysis.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify even minor deviations from product specifications.
- Proficiency in using test equipment, including oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, and automated test systems.
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting complex quality issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and report on quality findings.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Software Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.
- Experience with quality management software and databases (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is an advantage.
Physical Requirements:
