What You’ll Do
Summary/Objective:
The role will support overseeing the confidentiality, integrity, and availability as it relates to the credit union’s process, procedures, and systems. Working with departments across the credit union to ensure security best practices in existing and current processes and configurations throughout the organization.
Essential Functions:

- Act as a subject matter expert in a minimum of four domain(s) of the Enterprise Resilience Program such as Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, Vulnerability Management, Asset Management, Security Awareness, Governance, Audit, Risk Assessments, Incident Management and CIRT.
- Maintain System Ownership responsibilities for domain area(s) by updating documentation, performing quarterly reviews, and tracking new features.
- Support the Enterprise Resiliency Team Lead in developing and performing Governance, Risk and Compliance deliverables.
- Complete daily operational tasks relating to the resilience program including but not limited to compliance, Data Loss, Incident Management, and weekly support activities.
- Gather and prepare monthly Enterprise Resilience metric reports for management.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Resilience industry including awareness of security controls, improved security processes and the development of new attacks and threat vectors.
- Assist in performing resilience assessments. Work with application and business owners to complete service impact analyses.
- Assist Information Systems and business areas to complete periodic tabletop, business continuity and disaster recovery exercises.
- Collaborate with DCU (Digital Federal Credit Union) staff and management to ensure that all departments have fulfilled their information security responsibilities.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by Manager(s).
What You’ll Need
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and/or related work experience commensurate to 3-4 years’ experience.
- Experience with risk management, compliance, recovery software, tools, and equipment.
- 2 years of experience in Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity and knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial institution environment.
- Cloud experience, including Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
- Industry certifications such as CBCA, CBCP, CBCI
Additional Eligibility Requirements:
- Ability to adapt to technology and regulatory changes.
- Possess strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.
- Intermediate sense of accountability. Ability to work independently with minimal direction and follow-up.
- Intermediate interpersonal communication, teamwork, and project management skills.
- Intermediate written and presentation skills with an emphasis of leading and facilitating discussions, directing meetings, and documenting follow-up requirements.
- Intermediate knowledge of Information Technology and Network Security environments.
