Digital Harbor uses restorative practices and has a full range of athletics and clubs to meet varied interests. Digital Harbor High School is a part of Baltimore City Public Schools (Baltimore, MD).
We are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging Vocal Music Teacher to join our team! Candidates must be eligible to teach Secondary Vocal Music in Maryland. Candidates must have a Bachelors degree in music education or eligible for a conditional certification in music (music major or at least 30 credits in music courses). Bachelor's degree must be from an accredited college or institution.
Successful candidates will be responsible for creating lesson plans, delivering high-quality instruction, grading assignments, providing feedback to students, etc. Our Fine Arts Department will provide the candidate with content-specific coaching and support. Digital Harbor also provides mentoring and other targeted support to all of our teachers. Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and activities that meet the needs of all students.
- Create a safe and supportive learning environment for students.
- Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and administrators.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Stay up-to-date on educational trends and best practices.
- Integrate technology into the classroom.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $58,895.00 - $102,000.00 per year
