Position Overview: The Director of Performance Marketing is responsible for developing and overseeing all marketing services, campaigns, and initiatives across the agency’s client portfolio. This role requires strategic oversight, cross-functional collaboration, and direct management of the marketing team to deliver measurable results aligned with clients’ business goals. The Director of Performance Marketing is a critical member of the agency leadership, ensuring product quality, driving results, and fostering long-term client relationships.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1) Marketing Product/Service Development:

  • Responsible for the quality of all deliverables, including strategy, tactics, planning, reporting, and securing client buy-in.
  • Ensure services are delivered efficiently, maintaining speed without sacrificing quality.
  • Evaluate and optimize the agency’s service offerings to align with market demand.
  • Stay current on marketing trends, tools, and best practices to deliver leading-edge solutions.
  • Identify and implement new technologies, platforms, and processes to improve client offerings.

2) Marketing Strategy & Campaign Oversight:

  • Oversee the development, execution, and optimization of integrated marketing campaigns (digital, social, content, and traditional).
  • Ensure all campaigns align with client goals, budgets, and timelines.
  • Use data and analytics to assess campaign effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement.

3) Campaign Performance:

  • Responsible for the overall success and performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Monitor performance metrics and KPIs to assess the success of marketing initiatives.
  • Use data insights to improve campaign ROI and drive strategic decision-making.
  • Oversee financial management of campaigns, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness.
  • Report regularly to senior leadership on campaign outcomes, client satisfaction, and revenue targets.

4) Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing managers, coordinators, and specialists.
  • Provide guidance, set performance expectations, and ensure continuous development for all team members.
  • Foster a collaborative, results-oriented team environment prioritizing client satisfaction and professional growth.
  • Oversee the recruitment, training, and professional development of the marketing team.
  • Conduct yearly performance reviews.
  • Responsible for resourcing in Wrike to ensure the team meets utilization goals, and tracking time and task allocations are accurate.

5) Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pitch up-sell opportunities to existing clients.
  • Support new business development efforts, including pitching, proposal creation, and presenting to potential clients.
  • Drive new business development efforts by identifying opportunities and leading sales initiatives.


Job Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in marketing, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within an agency or similar setting.
  • Agency and B2B experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, content strategy, media planning, and analytics.
  • Proven track record in managing client relationships and delivering successful, data-driven campaigns.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects, and lead cross-functional teams.
