Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
  • Proven experience as a UI / UX Designer with a strong portfolio highlighting design projects
  • Proficient in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, etc
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
  • Experience with usability testing and user research methodologies
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to work with design mock-ups to create a consistent UI
  • Understanding of section 508 UI accessibility standards
  • Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • This person will work with agile scrum teams to support front-end user interface design for various applications including cloud
  • As a UI / UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centric designs for our digital products
  • You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to translate user needs and business goals into compelling design solutions
  • Demonstrate a keen understanding of business objectives and tailor UI / UX design solutions to meet specific client needs
  • Proficiently grasp the intricacies of the application to ensure seamless integration of design elements with its functionality
  • Perform comprehensive user research to gain insights into the preferences and needs of target users, ensuring a user-centric approach in design decisions
  • Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to communicate design concepts and interactions
  • Iterate and refine designs based on feedback and testing results
  • Develop visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless implementation of designs
  • Plan and conduct usability testing to gather feedback and validate design assumptions
  • Analyze testing results and implement improvements based on insights
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and goals
  • Communicate design concepts effectively and advocate for user-centered design principles on assigned projects and within the organization
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Continuously seek opportunities to enhance design skills and knowledge
