The Logistics Warehouse Manager is an integral member of the operations team. The Logistics Warehouse Manager is responsible for shipping, receiving, planning, directing, managing, and coordinating logistics and field operations related products to projects.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, purchase orders, inventory
- Purchase, Receive, and ship products for projects
- Ensure all orders are dispatched on time
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels
- Arrange and organize the warehouse
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and identify inefficiencies and cost optimization opportunities
- Identify and resolve any inventory discrepancies and ensure inventory and system records are in agreement
- Identify savings by removing waste or unnecessary steps in the logistics process
- Create and manage vehicle inventory
- Partner and communicate with manufacturers, suppliers, project. managers
- Prepare project organization and communication charts
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project team
- Keep the Project Manager and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
- Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working in logistics, warehouse
- Firm grasp of the supply chain, inventory, distribution, business, and management principles
- Strong team player
- Exceptional organizational and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of logistics and inventory software
- Must have skills of adaptability,
- Must be versatile with administrative duties
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability.
- Capacity to handle pressure.
