Digital Market POS is rapidly growing building Heartland Restaurant/Retail POS solutions. Our Customer base comprised of restaurants, retailers, bars, Wholesalers, and niche markets. We work hard to care about our customers success and provide them data points so they can make good business decisions.
We are seeking a talented individual to join the Digital Market POS team as a technician, installer, and help desk support agent. This job is based in Burr Ridge IL, however, travel to sites located throughout Chicago & suburbs will be required. A clean driver’s license is required for this job. The job requires movement of IT equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.

Additional Plus:
· Bi-Lingual (Spanish)
· A bachelor’s degree and / or equivalent experience in a previous online technical support role or with point of sale systems. (Retail & Restaurant).
· Networking. Proficient in the creation, maintenance and troubleshooting of wireless & LAN networks.
· Technically familiar with iOS operating systems - (iPad).
· Previous experience working at SaaS, small business, or payments focused companies.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Troubleshooting- You will be responsible for assessing and troubleshooting various issues that arise with Windows OS devices, ipads, network devices, POS Printers, Payment devices, and other IT devices.
· Learning Heartland POS software
· Installation – Installation of POS equipment, routers, switches, wireless access points, ipads, and Stands. Installation may include terminating network ports, wire management, software configuration, and network setup.
· Training – You will be responsible for training end users on how to effectively use their equipment. Good people skills and a neat appearance are required to properly train and assist end users.
· Excellent problem-solving skills.
· Thorough knowledge of IOS, networking, standard pc hardware, Microsoft office suite (Especially Excel) and other standard software.
· Ability to clearly explain problems and solutions to non-technical users.
· Ability to prioritize, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
· Ability to work alone or in teams.
· Must have a patient and methodical approach.
· Required to take calls after hours and weekends.
